The books from Tales of EUkraine continue to be distributed across Greece thanks to our partners from the United Ukrainian Diaspora in Greece, the "Center for Support and Development of Cultural Heritage 'Trembita'" and the "Ukrainian Sunday School Trembita"!
On 17 February, bilingual Ukrainian-Greek books published through Tales of EUkraine were distributed in Thessaloniki during the opening of a Ukrainian bookshelf at the Central Public Library in the presence, for the occasion, of the Consul of Ukraine in Thessaloniki Eugene Shkvira together with the first deputy mayor in charge of culture and tourism, Elina Dymantopoulou.
Representatives of the local Ukrainian community participated in the event, which was also celebrated with a performance of Ukrainian folk songs by singer and bandurist Elena Rozumn.
During this week, books were also distributed to Ukrainian parents and their children at the Infopoint of the United Ukrainian Diaspora and Opora Ukrainian Aid Center in Athens.
